Events Coming in 2017

BBQ Thank You

May 13, 2017: US Post Office Food Drive - The annual food drive by Postal Carriers will benefit our food pantry.

November 1 - December 1, 2017: Herald Banner Food Drive - Church groups, school groups, service clubs, etc., compete to collect the largest number of pounds of food for FISH. Visit the Herald Banner website. The winners will be invited to ride on the FISH float in the Greenville Christmas Parade!

November 14 -16, 2017: Thanksgiving Food Basket Assembly 5:30-7:00 pm, GEUS Loading Dock, 2810 Wesley Street - We need volunteers each night to assemble hundreds of baskets for needy families. Three evenings of fun and joyous work. Church groups, businesses, high school students needing community service hours—we welcome all of you! November 18, 2017:—Thanksgiving Food Basket Distribution 9:00 - 11:00 am, Christ Community Church, 5500 Sayle Street

December, 2017: Jingle Bowls Pet Food Drive - Turtle Creek Veterinary Medical Clinic’s annual drive to raise money to purchase pet food for FISH clients. Santa Claus and Paws Photos on Saturday, December 2 from 1-3 at Turtle Creek Veterinary Clinic located at 5900 Jack Finney Blvd. Visit www.turtlecreekvmc.com to learn more.

December 2, 2017: Greenville Christmas Parade “Fill the Float” - Bring a bag of canned goods with you to the parade and our volunteers will collect it from you and place it on the float as it rolls down the street. We hope to start with an empty float and end with one overflowing with food to fill our Christmas baskets! Cash donations accepted, too!
