Volunteer at Hunt County Shared Ministries
BECOME A VOLUNTEER IN OUR OFFICE OR FOOD PANTRY/WAREHOUSE
We welcome volunteers who want to help with our day-to-day work assisting our neighbors in need. We have jobs in our office (clerical or client interaction), food pantry and warehouse, and weekly produce distribution. You can work one day a week or more often. Please fill out the Volunteer Application and submit to ajbeene@hcsmfish.org
Pantry hours are M, Tu, W, F from 9am-Noon. Closed Thursday for Produce Distribution.
THURSDAY PRODUCE DISTRIBUTION
We need volunteers to help us every Thursday about 10:30 am with our Drive-Thru Weekly Produce Distribution. This takes place at our future location at 2825 O’Neal St. (at the corner of Wesley). No application necessary – just show up ready to help!
Note: This event may be cancelled due to weather issues, especially extreme heat or cold. Notices will be posted on our Facebook page.
GROUPS ARE WELCOME TO VOLUNTEER
Service clubs, school groups, churches and others are always welcome to help out at HCSM! We have opportunities for packing M.A.R.K. bags, holding food drives, organizing the warehouse or helping with produce or holiday food distribution preparation. If your group would like to volunteer, please contact Adam Beene.
HOLIDAY FOOD PACKING EVENTS
Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, we need lots of volunteers to help us pack the hundreds of boxes of food and produce that we distribute across Hunt County. Check our calendar of events or watch our Facebook page for packing dates and times. All ages are welcome – there’s a job for everyone!
Help your neighbors in need by donating to Hunt County Shared Ministries
Hunt County Shared Ministries is one of the approved charities by the Hunt County and Greenville courts. Donations to our organization will qualify for Community Service Hours at the rate of $10.00 for each required hour of service. Please indicate the name of the person for the whom the payment is being made, the number of hours being paid for, and the probation officer. Click the Button below to make a donation to satisfy Court-Ordered Community Service Requirements.
